ANNOUNCES A NEW SPRAY DRIER FACILITY AT THE FUKUROI JAPAN PLANT

ST. LOUIS, MO (October 20, 2008) - Nikken Foods USA, Inc. announces a recent expansion at the Fukuroi Japan plant. A new state-of-the art spray drier is now in operation.
“The new spray drier will enhance our business growth here in America as well as around the world,” said Herb Bench, Executive Vice President. “It has the capacity to produce a maximum of 100 metric tons per month.”
The facility was built to the company’s strict zoning codes in order to prevent any contamination. It has been designed with a fully automatic cleaning system to ensure the highest quality standards. The new spray drier will produce approximately 90 products. The production automatization has improved the working environment.
