Nikken Foods Company announces the move of their St. Louis distribution center, LILAR Corporation, to a new 20,000 sq. ft. office and warehouse facility. The move to 1820 S. Third St. is expected to increase the efficiency of the services provided to Nikken Foods by LILAR Corporation. These include sample and product order fulfillment, inventory management and shipment to customers throughout North America and the Caribbean.

According to Herb Bench, Nikken Foods’ General Manager, the move will not only provide Nikken Foods customers the benefits of streamlined inventory management and shipping procedures, but it also is a venue for sales training programs.

LILAR Corporation will soon complete an on-site, fully equipped test kitchen to be staffed by Nikken trained research and development technicians to assist food manufacturers in developing formulas utilizing Nikken products in a variety of food applications.

Nikken Foods, headquartered in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, has been marketing their products in the United States for more than 25 years. Their products are natural savory flavors that include dried seafood and vegetable powders, meat and poultry powders and an array of soy sauce powdered products for food manufacturers and processors. In the United States, Nikken Foods partners with LILAR Corporation to provide the services necessary to service their North American customers.
