Chocolate Seagreen Smoothie

With plant-based foods on many trend lists for 2018, we created a chocolate seaweed smoothie that is an indulgent offering most every health-conscious consumer would enjoy.


Add Seaweed Powder to milk and let steep for 5 minutes.  Bring mixture to a slow simmer for 45 min, then remove from heat and whisk in egg yolk, sugar, and vanilla.  Finally stir in the chocolate and refrigerate for 4 hours to slightly thicken.  Pour mixture over ice and blend into a delicious smoothie
