Thai Mushroom Sauce – 25% Sodium Reduced

% Ingredients

  • 24.4% Water
  • 22.26% Half & Half
  • 19.4% Coconut Milk
  • 14.5% White Mushrooms, chopped
  • 5.0% Sweet Chili Sauce
  • 5.0% Sambal Oelek
  • 4.0% Olive Oil
  • 1.8% Rezista Starch
  • 1.7% Shiitake Extract Powder 2111
  • 0.84% Natural Flavor Enhancer Powder 7103
  • 0.50% Komi Powder 7400
  • 0.6% Roasted Garlic Extract Powder 2355

Add olive oil to skillet and begin heating on medium. Add mushrooms and sauté until tender.

Add water to a separate container, then mix in Rezista Starch, 2111 Shiitake Extract Powder, 7103 Natural Flavor Enhancer Powder, 7400 Komi™ Powder and 2355 Roasted Garlic Extract Powder.  Mix until dry ingredients are completely dissolved / dispersed.

Add liquid to skillet and mix well.

Stir in Sambal Oelek and sweet chili sauce, and then half & half.

Increase heat to medium-high and heat just to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 minute.

Add coconut milk and mix well, cooking until thoroughly reheated.
